The Art Of Working Two Jobs...
I was hesitant on writing so much but here it is... Three more weeks of hard work and I'm home free!!! Monday will set off yet another Labor Intesive work week for me. (y nah... yo estoy sentado la mayoria del tiempo...haha...) I've actually gotten used to working these crazy hours I'm working but at the end of this month I'll be greatful that I won't have to do it anymore. I highly recommend that everyone work two jobs! lol... its actually not that bad... After the first two weeks you'll want to quit one of the two jobs... then you look at how much money your making. That just motivates you to want to work the two jobs. Not only that, the expirience is priceless. I'll gain more from the expirience then from the money that I earn. I'll be able to put that on my resume and carry it under my belt for the rest of my life... Just like that piece of paper you get from College.
My cousin has a Masters in Phsycology... from Columbia University! yet because she doesn't have any expirience she ends up having a very hard time getting a better paying job. Truth be told, the average 26 yo male is only making 30K a year in the US. Friends that graduate now-a-days are barely making 50K right out of college with an Engineering Degree, and if you don't have a degree or expirience to show for something, you'll be stuck at about 25-35K a year working a dead end job. I don't think thats bad but knowing the things that I can do with my degree and the expirience to go along with it, I'd work two jobs at any given point in time if it was to learn more then i already know... You also can't forget you have to be motivated, ready and willing to commit to the lifestyle and everything else that comes along with it.
No social life for 5 days or 7 days (at times) would be one of them... I've even had a hard time commiting to a new friendship because the time that I have off of work is priceless to me. I hope no one holds any grudges against me either... I get tons of calls and I either tell them I'm at work at which point I get the feeling that they feel sorry they even bothered to call... orI get the VM saying... "Tu estas perdido, me llamas despues"... I listen to the message on my way to the other job and by the time I remember everything else I have to do, I run out of time to give them a call back... It's that crazy... but its all worth it in my opinion.
